The American Cancer Society’s annual St. Louis Golf Classic is a high-end, premier golf tournament held on 440 acres of the most scenic, beautiful, and prestigious courses in the country: Boone Valley Golf Club in Augusta, Missouri. This amenity-rich event raises funds for the Society’s mission to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer. More than just a golf outing, the tournament experience gives sponsors, players, golfers and their guests, the opportunity to cultivate relationships with business leaders while funding the mission to end cancer.
Andrew Davidson – KPMG and John (JT) Tvrdik – PwC are co-chairing the 2025 STL Golf Classic. Both Davidson and Tvrdik serve as the Office Managing Partners for their respective firm’s St. Louis operations. In their roles, each lead a team providing audit, tax and consulting services to both public and private clients. Andrew and JT share a passion for golf and a strong desire to join together to lead the fight against cancer in concert with the American Cancer Society and the CEO’s Against Cancer.
As the only organization combating cancer through advocacy, discovery, and patient support, the American Cancer Society has made significant contributions to the fight against cancer over the last 110 years. We advocate for lifesaving policy changes, promote healthy lifestyles to help prevent cancer, and provide information, answers, and support to people in every community who have been touched by cancer. We also research cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatment.
Yet, there is still work to be done – which is why we are so glad you have joined us tonight! The American Cancer Society continues to work tirelessly to fund research and provide support for all types of cancer. And thanks to your generous support, we work to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
